Sam Cannon is a Nashville native who loves all things auditory. After receiving a formal education in studio engineering at Nashville’s Blackbird Academy and film scoring through Scorecraft Academy under Michael Whittaker, Sam Cannon has quickly become the trusted composer for many. His love for music was first debuted when he was 5 as the drummer in his family band, and by middle school, his sense of rhythm and groove spread to the digital world where he dove into producing and composing electronic music. After high school, Cannon’s passion for music and story led him to pursue a career in composing music for film and TV.

Joining TapeSlate Productions in 2024, Sam has become an integral part to crafting narratives through music and sound.
